Jamie Pearce
Jamie has a particular expertise in coaching 'at depth' to deliver clarity, self-confidence and performance.
He has extensive experience in managing and motivating individuals and teams from different generations.
Jamie’s approach combines 'hard' and 'soft' methodologies to deliver clarity, self-confidence and performance.
'Hard' includes rigorous and clear accountability. 'Soft' entails a safe reflective space to wonder and explore issues around engagement, trust, and, critically, self-confidence. These are proven approaches to performance and change management and give all involved a sense of ownership of the process.

Detailed CV:
Jamie’s particular way of working with clients is to create a ‘reflective space’ to help them work through issues and find the solutions that fit them and their business. His strong background in HR and business management, combined with his experience across a range of industries, means he can offer significant support to small businesses in these areas. Jamie has studied and qualified in a number of disciplines including law, social work, psychology and economics. This has led to a broad range of work experiences. Starting in London as a teacher, he became a community worker and then, after finishing his studies, project director of an action research project with young homeless people. Eventually he moved into consulting.
On his return to Australia, Jamie worked in a number of organisations in HR and change management. He was recruited by Hay Associates, a US based consultancy specialising in motivation and reward management, and became Regional Director before being head-hunted by IBIS Consulting to head a new HR consulting division. He was then recruited by Ernst & Young as its first National Director of Change Management. While working for these international consultancy firms, Jamie gained experience across a range of industries including finance, manufacturing and mining, and in a range of countries and cultures in Australia, the USA, Asia and the Pacific. In Australia he has also worked with universities and with all levels of government.
In collaboration with two other highly experienced consultants Jamie set up Corporate Reflection and Decision Associates. He sits on a number of Not-for-Profit boards and committees, including social justice lobby group Social Policy Connections, the Chapter of St Paul’s Cathedral ‘Focus’ sub-committee, and Rideshare Australia, a Not-for-Profit introducing an iPhone application to support people sharing car journeys. Jamie has also chaired the Course Accreditation Committee for RMIT’s Master of Business Administration and the board of Lifeworks Counselling Service, as well as being a member of the Ph.D. in Organisation Behaviour at Swinburne University and the initial Business Ethics Group at the Australian Catholic University.
